According to the surveys conducted so far in Sri Lanka, it has been revealed that 21,000 children suffering from childhood malnutrition have been identified.
Yesterday (29) the Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella stated this in Parliament.
He further pointed out that this situation is expected to grow to 40,000 in the future.
The Minister further mentioned that the necessary solutions for that have also been planned promptly.
In the face of the economic crisis facing the country, the people have not even had food to eat. The people who are suffering from inflation are yet to see any relief.
People eat and drink and are happy, or they sleep in hunger. The rulers do not see this and work to fatten their pockets. They also have no end to accumulate power and wealth, and even when the people are dying of hunger, they divide and compete with each other.
