International media reports that Mark Zuckerberg, the chief executive of Meta Platforms, the company that owns the Facebook social media network, has again cut down on staff in order to make his business more efficient.
The aim is to make 2023 the year of efficiency.
The international media has further reported that the cutbacks will affect the technical engineers and other employees working there and that about 10,000 employees will be laid off, and this process has been planned for several months.
