It is reported that a mother and son have unfortunately lost their lives in a car accident that took place in Ambagahawatta area on the Minuwangoda – Jaela road.
According to reports, the motorcycle the two were traveling in tried to pass the container car that was running in front of it, the motorcycle was unable to control it and the van that came in front of it hit the van and the two were thrown out of the accident.
A 45-year-old mother and a 15-year-old son, both residents of Minuwangoda, have lost their lives.
