It is reported that a dead body of a small child was found suspiciously in front of a work site in Mulleriya Halbarawa area.
According to the information received by the police emergency department, yesterday afternoon (08) the dead body was found dead with bleeding wounds caused by a bottle shell.
The father of the dead child lives separately from the mother and the mother has left for daytime work. It is reported that the child has been under the care of his aunt and grandfather.
A male child aged 5 years and 6 months has died and the magistrate’s examination and the forensic medical officer’s on-site examination have been conducted. Also, the dead body has been deposited in Mulleriya Hospital for post-mortem examination.
