It is reported that the claim related to the provision of new houses for 150 house owners affected by the Colombo Suburban Railway Project was made under the leadership of the Minister of Transport, Highways and National Media, Bandula Gunawardene.
The Ministry of Transport has reported that these housing rights have been prioritized for the affected people under Asian Bank assistance and they are also planned to be given new houses in the Maligawatta-Lakhiru Sewana and Siyapat Sewana apartment complexes.
