It is reported that a senior official of the National Transport Commission has stated that the bus fares will have to be increased due to the increase in the price of diesel by 35.00 rupees from midnight yesterday (31).
He has further mentioned that in substituting the effect caused by the increase in diesel prices into the bus fare calculation formula, if the effect increases by 4%, the bus fares will have to be increased, and in this regard, a notification is scheduled to be given today (01) afternoon.
