A crocodile with a length of nearly four feet came near the stone wall near Panadura beach at around 5.30 pm yesterday (28) and a fisherman who saw it informed the coast guard officials. It is reported that the crocodile was dragged into the sea and roamed in the area between 10-20 meters from the shore until the night.
Atthidiya wildlife officials have been informed about the incident and further action will be taken today (29).
Until this crocodile is removed from the sea, the police have informed to be careful while bathing in the sea and visiting Siri.
