It is reported that Mr. Ravi Kumudesh, President of the Health Professionals Scholars Association, has said that he will implement a symbolic strike against the non-payment of the 35,000 rupees allowance given to the medical officers to the paramedics.
He has stated that although the Council of Ministers which met yesterday (08) agreed to give an allowance of 35,000 rupees to medical personnel, it is regrettable that it was not done fairly to all health professionals.
It has been decided to start a symbolic strike action from 8 am today against the complete neglect of paramedic professionals in the pursuit of economic justice for health professionals.
He further mentioned that if justice is not done with due attention to this, then a continuous strike action will have to be started by uniting all the health professionals and other health staff.
