The police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects and a car wanted in connection with the shooting and killing of a person in the Haputale area on the 22nd.
It is reported that this person was shot and killed by a group of unknown persons and another person was seriously injured and investigations are being conducted under the supervision of Bandarawela Senior Superintendent of Police to arrest them.
Investigations conducted so far have revealed that these suspects came in a car with fake number plates.
