It was reported that two children living in Malsiripura Kumbuk Lake area of Kurunegala are still suffering from a skin rash six months after their birth. The two children of a family of three are six years old and four years old.
It is said that the second child of the family, the six-year-old child, who is suffering from a medical condition, has also missed his pre-school trip and the school trip has also been interrupted by rash.
The children’s mother states that she is currently receiving treatment from Kurunegala Hospital for this rash disease. Also, they use public transport to go to the hospital and the parents of the children say that they and their children are uncomfortable because the village people look at their children with disgust while traveling in public transport.
