It is reported that reports that a group of Sri Lankan workers who were going to work in South Korea have lost their job dreams due to the delay of a Sri Lankan flight, are reported to be false.
On the 23rd, due to a technical fault in the Sri Lankan flight, the flight which was scheduled to depart from Colombo to Korea at 8.00 that night could not take off on time. But the flight was able to take off on May 24 at 6:00 am.
The Korean Human Resources Department had taken steps to temporarily suspend the arrival of the workers from this country who were ready to leave for Korea due to the inability to manage them in Korea. The Deputy General Manager of Foreign Employment Bureau Mr. P. G. G. S. Yapa has mentioned that.
