It is reported that the Ministry of Finance has said that it has planned to implement an ‘Aswasuma Week’ to solve the existing problems in the Aswasuma welfare benefit program.
Accordingly, it is said that from November 6th to 11th, the families who have qualified as relief beneficiaries but have not yet received the benefits, as well as the delay in benefits due to technical problems, will be discussed.
Minister of State for Finance Shehan Semasinghe has also mentioned that the payments related to the month of August will start from tomorrow (01) for the relief beneficiaries.
“Currently, we have made payments related to the month of July. Next, we hope that the Ministry of Finance and the Treasury will provide 8.5 billion rupees to 1,365,000 beneficiaries. Accordingly, there is a possibility for the beneficiaries to get their benefits from Wednesday
