It is reported that the Asia Cup match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan is scheduled to start today (05) at 3.00 pm at the Lahore International Cricket Stadium.
The two teams that will qualify for the Super Four from Group B will have to be selected based on the result of today’s match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, and if Sri Lanka wins that match, then Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will qualify for the Super Four and if Sri Lanka loses that match, they will qualify for the Super Four. The two qualifying teams will be decided on net scoring pace.
Currently, Sri Lanka’s scoring rate is positive 0.951 and Afghanistan’s scoring rate is negative 1.780.
Accordingly, Sri Lanka currently has the upper hand to qualify for the Super Four round.
