“Mohammed Siddique” alias “Pictures Lane Siddique”, a brother-in-law of former Special Task Force chief Latif, has been arrested in Oman.
“Mohammed Siddique”, a head of the international drug mafia, claims to be the head of international drug distribution in countries like Afghanistan, Iran, India and Pakistan.
After being sentenced to life imprisonment in Sri Lanka, he escaped from the country with four members of the LTTE.
He has killed a lawyer in India and is a wanted criminal in India.
It is reported that another criminal who is said to have a close relationship with him, “Ganemulle Sanjeeva” or “Sanjeeva Kumara Samaratne” or “Makilangamuwe Sanjeeva” has also been arrested in Nepal.
“Amila Nuwan” aka “Gotha Asanka” aka “Ami Asanka” was also arrested in Nepal along with Sanjeeva.
It is now possible to find out whether Latif did anything for his brother-in-law, who is a former head of the Special Task Force.
Also the information we have shown from time to time is becoming true. It remains to be seen if there are Latif’s henchmen in the Special Task Force and what their connections are with the underworld and the Kuddan.
Security forces and smart officers can do a lot if they want to end drugs and underworld in this country and bring criminals to justice. They should be empowered for that.
