It is reported that teacher-principal unions have jointly decided to hold protests in front of schools tomorrow (27) after school hours in protest of the tear gas attack on the teacher-principal protest on the 24th.
They also mentioned that they have decided to complain to the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka in this regard, and if the money needed to solve the problems in the education sector, including the elimination of the salary disparities of teachers and principals, is not allocated in this year’s budget, strict professional measures will be taken in the future, regardless of the repressive situation. That day, the government attacked the people’s right to hold protests.
