Yesterday (16) it is reported that the police arrested a 32-year-old man while he was making love with a 13-year-old schoolgirl in a forest in Puttalam-Weerapura area. It was during the inspection according to the information received that a girl dressed in school uniform was in the forest with a man.
It is reported that this 13-year-old student is studying in the 7th grade of a national school in Rajanganaya area. It is said that there has been a love relationship between this student and the male person for some time. Also, investigations into the incident have revealed that after finishing school, the student came to the forest with this person.
The 13-year-old student has been referred to the forensic medical officer of the Puttalam Base Hospital for a medical examination and it is reported that the 32-year-old man is to be produced in the Puttalam Magistrate’s Court.
