It is reported that geologists have indicated that the eighth continent of the earth is called ‘Zelandia’ and New Zealand is a part of this continent.
Geologists pointed out to the world that there is an eighth continent called ‘Zealandia’ a few years ago, but now it is said that geologists have succeeded in completely mapping this continent, which is located in the Pacific Ocean, at a depth of 3,500 feet.
Of the land belonging to this continent, only the island state of New Zealand is above the sea today and it is also reported that 94% of the 8th continent is under the sea.
Geologists consider New Zealand to be the remaining 6 percent.
Geologists are of the opinion that this continent may have sunk into the sea 375 years ago due to a natural disaster.
It is said that the total area of this 8th continent is about 5 million square kilometers, and accordingly, the continent of ‘Sealandia’ is about 6 times larger than Madagascar.
