It is reported that the construction work of Millaniya Industrial Park, which has been named as Kalutara Raigama Green Industry and Technical Development High Zone, has been started and the land area is 25 acres, and an amount of 7500 million rupees has been invested for it.
It is stated that this construction work started in conjunction with the National Industry Week which was announced from last 22nd to today (28th).
It also reports that 25 factories have been started under the first phase of which the expected direct and indirect employment is 1750.
