It is reported that a mother who was preparing her hair with an electrical appliance got electrocuted and fell down in the bathroom on the upper floor of the house.
The deceased is a 30-year-old woman named Kanchana Subhasini Lokuhewage, a resident of Polgasovita area.
Mrs. Subhasini, who worked for a while as a Management Assistant Officer at the National Apprenticeship Technical Training Authority, has left the service after having a child.
It is said that she is the mother of a three-year-old daughter.
