It is reported that a final decision will be given today (09) regarding the recent conflict in the Parliament complex.
This has been stated by Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapaksa, the chairman of the committee appointed to investigate the incident.
It is reported that a committee chaired by Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapaksa was appointed by Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena in a speech to investigate the recent incident between State Minister Diana Gamage, Samagi Jana Balawegaya Party MPs Sujith Sanjay Perera and Rohana Bandara at the Parliament premises.
The said committee met for the second day last Monday and it was revealed in the initial investigations that all the three MPs in question have done things to harm the honor of the Parliament.
Accordingly, Deputy Speaker Ajith Rajapaksa has stated that the committee will meet for the third day today, where a final decision will be taken regarding the incident.
