The Kuruduwatta police had asked the court to issue this order to a group of 16 including the convener of the Inter-University Student Council, Wasantha Mudalige, Lahiru Weerasinghe, Duminda Nagamuwa, Rathkarawe Jinarathana Thero, and Galwewa Siridhamma Thero.
Meanwhile, it is reported that additional police battalions are being called to these areas and water cannons are also being called.
