It is reported that a university student has died this morning (18) after falling from the third floor of a dormitory building and was admitted to Homagama Hospital.
A 26-year-old student who was studying at the Faculty of Technology at Diyagama, Homagama, affiliated to Moratuwa University, has lost his life.
An investigation has been started regarding the student’s fall from the building, but further investigations have revealed that there is a suspicion that the deceased student was addicted to the drug ice.
The Kahathuduwa Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
