It is reported that a 59-year-old man has lost his life due to a stabbing incident between two people during a wedding ceremony in the Wilimbula area under the Malvatuhiripitiya police jurisdiction.
According to the police, Magammanage Sirimevan, a father of three, who lived in Wilimbula, died while being admitted to Radawana Hospital after being injured in a knife attack.
It is said that a brother of the girl’s father died in a knife attack during the Kotahalu wedding ceremony held at a house in Wilimbula last night (12).
