According to the report, today (28) the Colombo High Court Judge Aditya Patabadige has ordered that the check fraud case filed against Thilini Priyamali in the Colombo High Court will be heard on the 5th and 6th of June.
It is said that the orders were given when a case was filed against Thilini Priyamali in the Colombo High Court for defrauding Samitha Anuruddha, a resident of Tangalla by giving a check worth 80 lakh rupees from a closed account.
The lawyers who represented Thilini Priyamali said that the case is ready for settlement and that they should be given about two and a half months to do so. Despite a request from the court, the lawyers representing the plaintiff told the court that no agreement has been reached so far regarding a settlement
