Today (17) two of these school students went to the Vavuniya University Stadium for an Elle match and it is reported that after the match they fell into an unsafe water pit near the stadium and the two students lost their lives.
The bodies of the two dead school students have been exhumed and the bodies have been deposited in the Vaviniya Hospital.
The Poovarasankulam Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
