It is reported that vegetable prices in many economic centers are currently very low.
At the Peliyagoda Manning market yesterday (30), a kilo of carat was sold at a price between 90 and 100 rupees, while at the Dambulla Economic Center it has dropped to 80 rupees.
Non-upland beet was sold at a price between 60 and 80 rupees at the Norochchole Economic Center and at Manning market also for less than 100 rupees.
Cabbage prices were also recorded between 65 and 90 rupees, and imported potatoes are sold in economic centers at a wholesale price of less than 140 rupees.
The price of imported pumpkins is also low by 100 rupees and a kilogram of pumpkin has been sold at a price between 35 and 50 rupees.
