It is reported that the divisional secretaries have complained to the executive council that there is a racket of mixing water with alcohol in the restaurant of the Colombo Junior Police Officers Association.
The officials of the Executive Council have stated that during the investigations, they have collected many video and photo evidences related to the smuggling.
It is said that the Executive Council has also disclosed that there have been accusations of mixing alcohol with water on several occasions.
The Union of Police Junior Officers has stated that steps have been taken to conduct a proper investigation in this regard.
