It is reported that a person who was fleeing after robbing a woman’s necklace has died after being caught by a group and handed over to the police.
It is reported that the Panadura South Police said that the concerned suspect died after being hospitalized for treatment.
The deceased was a 39-year-old resident of Panadura Pingwala area.
At the time when the deceased robbed a gold necklace around a woman’s neck in the center of Panadura city, a group of people around him caught him and tried hard to kill him.
Hospital sources have stated that the suspect who was in discomfort was admitted to the Panadura Basic Hospital, where he died while receiving treatment.
