It is reported that the Ministry of Labor and Foreign Employment has taken steps to amend the Shop and Office Workers Act in relation to the employment of women.
Accordingly, it is stated that women can be employed in an organization related to information technology even after ten at night.
It has been mentioned in the amended bill that the owner of the establishment should provide the terms and conditions related to the welfare of the women who are employed in this way, including safety, transportation and resting facilities.
Only women who have completed eighteen years of age can be employed in this way.
The bill related to this amendment has now been included in the parliamentary agenda.
