What happened to the people of Sri Lanka? We are already suffering the consequences of losing leaders who have cared for the country for many years. Along with fuel and gas, essential food items as well as all other items have skyrocketed.
For months, the ruling class in Sri Lanka has failed to take any effective action on behalf of the suffering people.
Some fuel queues last several days. Fuel queues are also heating up due to unruly people coming to get fuel. They exchange blows.
Also other people add fuel on a large scale. The more fuel they collect, the more they sell. But the legacy of these oppressed people was destroyed by the political authorities as well as the majority of the public administration.
Dozens of helpless Sri Lankans are still queuing up in the sun, drenched in rain, with no food, no water to drink.
People who could not find food then are now starving. But the rulers talk about their problems from parliament. This is the real situation in Sri Lanka. If this situation is not resolved at high speed, another catastrophic catastrophe will take place in the near future. But the rulers are still living happily.
