Journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrema had a further discussion with Iftikhar Aziz, President of the Sri Lanka-Pakistan Friendship Traders and Investors Association and Dr. Chandima Wijewardene on the murder of Priyantha Kumara.
There, Chandima Wijewardene, who has spoken in many languages, explains some of the words she utters in the statements made by the assassins.
She has studied how these savages have committed such a crime and released a number of videos on social media in which they proudly utter statements such as “We did this”.
At one point, a person had stated that Mr. Priyantha Kumara had smashed a poster with their religious slogan and thrown it in the bin, but despite informing the heads of the institution, they did not take any action and we tortured and killed this person.
Ms. Chandima Wijewardena also said that another person had said, “We worked to get him to hell.”
She added that the assassins were shouting slogans and chanting slogans, which were usually uttered by a political group in Pakistan.
Therefore, she doubts that this could be a political aspect that goes beyond religious extremism.
However, Iftikhar Aziz, President of the Ceylon-Pakistan Friendship Traders and Investors Association, said that this would never damage the friendship between Sri Lanka and Pakistan and that the Prime Minister of Pakistan would take the maximum possible steps in this regard.
